Lifefolio Terms of Service

Service description

Lifefolio is an iOS journaling and lifelog app that helps you keep daily records like pages in a book. You can record dates, notes, mood ratings, places, weather, and photos, view visited places on a map, and export records as share cards.

The service can be used without registration. Core record data is generally stored on your device and in your personal iCloud account, and the developer does not operate a separate account server or collect and store your journal contents.

The service is free unless otherwise stated. If paid features, subscriptions, or in-app purchases are introduced later, pricing, payment terms, and cancellation methods will be provided in the app or by separate notice.

Your responsibility

You must not collect, store, share, or infringe another person's personal information, photos, location information, likeness, or copyrighted work without permission, or store or share illegal or rights-infringing content.

You must not interfere with the normal operation of the app, external services, ad SDKs, iCloud sync, maps, or weather features, or harm security or stability through reverse engineering, unauthorized access, vulnerability exploitation, or abusive automation.

You are responsible for the content you enter, save, select, export, or share, including content shared through share cards, image export, or other sharing features.

Data, AI, maps, weather, photos, and sharing

App data such as records, places, photo identifiers, thumbnails, and settings may be stored on your device and in your personal iCloud account. The developer cannot directly access your local storage or personal iCloud data, and you are responsible for managing your device, Apple account, iCloud storage, device lock settings, and backups.

AI or automated assistance such as writing support, refinement, summaries, and editor comments may be provided for convenience. Accuracy, completeness, suitability, or fitness for a particular purpose is not guaranteed, and you should review suggested content before saving or sharing it.

Maps, place search, address conversion, and weather information may depend on Apple MapKit, Apple WeatherKit, or other external services, and accuracy or real-time availability is not guaranteed. Content exported outside the app is handled according to the policies and settings of the external service you choose.

Ads, external services, changes, and limitation of liability

The app may display ads through Google AdMob and use Google User Messaging Platform for ad consent management. If you allow App Tracking Transparency permission, IDFA may be used for personalized advertising and measurement.

The developer may change, add, suspend, or update all or part of the service for improvement, security, legal or platform policy compliance, external service changes, or technical needs. Reasonable measures may be taken if use of the service violates these terms or risks security, stability, or third-party rights.

The service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, except in cases of intentional misconduct or gross negligence by the developer, the developer is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, data loss, profit loss, or goodwill loss.

Privacy, updates, governing law, and contact

The handling of personal information is described in the Lifefolio Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms. These terms may be updated when the service, laws, platform policies, or external service policies change.
